BIOGRAPHY

Hello, my name is Tessa Meehan, and I am currently a senior studying Public Relations and Dance Appreciation and Practice at Syracuse University.

As my time here at SU progresses as a student, I see that my interest in the inner workings of the arts and entertainment industry progresses with it. The course work I have been taking throughout my time at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications has allowed me to further develop my writing, communication, and organizational skills; as well as develop a thorough understanding of how representatives go about researching and connecting people and organizations to their publics. However, my strongest assets to the PR field lie behind the creativity I bring to the table from my large background in the arts community.

While I continue growing as an active student in the PR field, the stronger my love for the arts and entertainment industry grows alongside it. For myself, I find that the next step in my education career is getting that true working experience under trained professionals, alongside equally motivated students with diverse perspectives.
